Tickets for SHS sporting events can be purchased at game time.
Prices for events are $6.00 for adults, $3.00 for students and senior citizens 65 and over will remain $2.00. Senior citizens who reside in Exeter can get a pass at the administration building which will allow them in home events for free.
Game passes that include 5 games for $25.00 for adults ( savings of $5.00) and a student pass that includes 5 games for $10.00 (which is a savings of $5.00) are available for purchase in the Athletic Office or at any ticketed varsity game.
For those of you who do not know where the ticket money goes, here is a list of things that the ticket money provides for our athletes.
Game officials for all events are paid from the ticket money. Game workers like announcers, security, timekeepers, scorebook, ticket sellers and ticket takers are all necessary to produce the games our students love to play. We pay entry fees for tournaments. We buy plaques for our Hall of Fame. We pay the dues for the Berks League, the IC Football League, the Eastern Conference, and PIAA. We use ticket money to pay for the ambulance and police coverage. If a team makes it to post season and needs travel money for food and lodging, it comes from the ticket money. We buy the plaques the teams receive when they win a championship.
You see we need ticket money to operate. Without it, we would put a greater burden on the general fund or need to cut many things that are necessary to function properly.
